When writing supplement estimates, I insert a note/attachment under each line item explaining WHY the line item should be paid. Perhaps it’s required by code, or a unique situation requires extra labor be added, etc.
Utilizing Note Templates will help you save time and keep you organized when writing estimates. If you feel that you will be typing the same note over and over, then the verbiage should be saved as a Note Template.
